Adin Smith, a graduate of New England College, is a nationally certified personal trainer through the NSCA-CSCS. Adin is currently working on his master's in human nutrition, this degreeexpected to be completed in May of 2016.
Adin started his work in a medically based fitness center at the age of 21 where he worked alongside various medical doctors and physical therapists. “Working in a hospital fitness center at a young age was a good foundation for me. The experience enabled me to help others get great results by working around most physical limitations. I can’t tell you how many clients come to me today wanting to lose weight or build a toned body, but have a thick medical history.”
After having a few years experience Adin gained a solid understanding of the fitness industry. At age 24 he opened his first personal training studio in New Hampshire. However, after spending a few more years on the east coast, Adin wanted to know where in the country would best be supportive of his line of work. It turns out California was much more health conscious than New England, which is why he relocated to Silicon Valley in the summer of 2006.

Dominique Biner graduated Cum Laude from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in April of 1991. Prior to receiving his doctorate in chiropractic, he earned a degree in physical education from the Institute of High Technology of Zurich in 1985. Dr Biner has attended post-graduate certification courses in sports medicine to become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. He has always been particularly interested in soft tissue conditions and their treatments and has continually furthered his knowledge in trigger point therapy and myofascial release to better serve his clients. Dominique Biner is ACSM certified and has been training clients for the past few years in Mountain View and Palo Alto. He recently became a member of the IYCA and has recently become certified as a Youth Fitness Specialist Level 1. He was born and raised in Switzerland and is fluent in French. He presently resides in San Jose with his wife Lynda and his two sons, Kyle and Matthew. He is active in sports and particularly enjoys soccer, skiing, running.
Li is a graduate of the University of Southern California's Kinesiology program. While earning her degree, she took the opportunity to work as a student athletic trainer, helping athletes prepare for competition and both prevent and recover from injuries. Then, as a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, she started working as an exercise therapist with people who had spinal cord injuries. Looking to continue broadening and deepening her base of knowledge, she began interning as a strength and conditioning coach with USC's basketball and volleyball programs while also working in an outpatient physical therapy clinic that allowed her to help patients who were post-operative or seeking relief from chronic pain. For the last few years, she has been helping NCAA and pro athletes improve their athletic performance by increasing speed, power, strength, stamina, mobility, and proprioception and reducing their potential for injury. Now, she is looking to use her diverse background to help clients work through personalized programs that will help them exceed their individual goals. Li is active in a variety a sports and enjoys snowboarding, basketball, surfing, soccer and beach volleyball.

Jerry Yuhara has been a personal trainer for 7 years and is certified through NASM CPT and PES. He started while pursuing his business degree at Arizona State University. After graduating, he decided to make personal training his career while living in Arizona. After 4 years of personal training for a major gym, Jerry decided to work independently obtaining most of his clientele out of a small town in Arizona. Being a town with many retirees, he worked with many seniors keeping them healthy and injury free. Throughout his personal training career, Jerry has worked with a variety of people including, youths, seniors, post-rehab clients, athletes, and others with specific fitness goals. Recently Jerry relocated to the Bay Area, where he grew up. He is taking classes and looking to enter into a program for a higher degree in the one of the health sciences. He has been shadowing and assisting a chiropractor as well to further his education upon health and the human body. “Fitness is my passion ever since I started playing sports at a young age. I want people to experience all the incredible benefits of exercise and nutrition have to offer. My future goal is to become highly educated in treating people’s injuries and health issues.”
Daniella has been personal training in the Bay Area for the last 8 years. She has worked with a wide variety of clientele, from post-rehab to body-building to osteoporosis prevention and treatment. Her multiple certifications from NASM (PES), NCSF, and ACE have given her a broad base of education to pull from. In addition, Daniella graduated last year from the National Institute of Whole Health, where she received her certification as a Nutrition Educator. Her approach to wellness is to look at the whole person and figure out what path suits them best. There are no cookie-cutter, blanket prescriptions for fitness in her world. Everybody has different needs, wants and abilities. She will help you find your strengths to play to them, and pinpoint your weakness to minimize them.
Hartmut was born 1967 in Germany. He first came to the United States as an intern in 1992 working for the Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired in San Francisco; returning here as a permanent resident after finishing his Masters degree in Physio Therapy (majored in Internal Medicine and Orthopedic Rehabilitation) at the University of Cologne Germany in June of 1995. In 2001 Hartmut was recognized by IDEA (International Dance and Exercise Association) as a master fitness trainer (IDEA'S highest level).
It is Hartmut’s goal and mission to help as many as possible to achieve greater health, maintain or improve physical independence, and increase the overall quality of life.
Even though Hartmut’s education favors the work with clients trying to recover from acute illness or injury or need to manage a chronic health condition such as multiple sclerosis, parkinson's, stroke, total joint replacement, back pain, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease -- Hartmut truly enjoys helping you to improve overall performance whether you are a competitive athlete, a weekend warrior or simply someone who is trying to increase his/her ADL (Activities of Daily Living).
